Dear Prayer Partners,
Dear Prayer Partners.
In October it was a joy to welcome Lun and Ngaiching Misao from Manipur to New Zealand. On their speaking tour Lun and Ngaiching touched many hearts with their love and commitment for the impoverished and vulnerable children of Manipur and Kolkata. Lun has written the following for our prayer letter.
“Greetings to you all in Christ’s Name, We are home safe and sound. We want to thank each one of you for seeing us and coming to listen to our stories. Your love and kindness fills our lives. and we will pass your love on to the children and families here in India. We are blessed to have families and friends like you in New Zealand. We enjoyed our time in New Zealand like we will never see it again, the friendship, the love, the rivers, the beaches, the mountains, the air. We already miss the quietness of your beautiful country. Thank you for your commitment to prayers, for your love and support of us. Here, as we got home, things remained the same, even worse in some places, like bomb blasts, dusty roads, sickness, drug addiction. The abandoning of babies continues. Our place is so different to New Zealand that many times we forget to love and care for one another.
Kindly continue to pray and support us as we plan to share your love, and set up an Open Home Children Centre in Churachandpur, especially for the unwanted and new born babies. For this we need to secure the land and for that we need your kind donation and help again. The plan is to secure a small land and set up a place for those unwanted and abandoned babies so that they are not thrown in the river or killed. Only last week another abandoned baby was found, this time unharmed and alive .”
