Dear Prayer Partner,

Happy New Year. May the year ahead hold many blessings for you. Especially may you experience the fullness of God within you. May His presence in your life give you great hope and peace amid the struggles of our troubled world. Always remember His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us.

As we begin 2026, the 35th year since the overseas work of Ohfi began, we ask special prayer for the provision of Ohfi. Currently the organisation is in deficit, so we are looking to God to see Ohfi through this challenging time.

Grant Brenton, Chairman of Ohfi, has written the following prayer for us to pray.

“Jesus you are head of Ohfi and you lead and guide us on our journey. We ask you to watch over us once more as we strive for sustainability to ensure we can continue to support our overseas partners in their missions in impoverished communities protecting so many vulnerable children. Thank you Lord for your guidance with the community projects we have been able to deliver this past year enabling more families to care for their children. We know we can do little on our own but with your help we can achieve so many great things. Amen”

A further prayer request from Grant is for an increase in Board members and volunteers to help strengthen the Ohfi base here in New Zealand.
